St Paul's Catholic College, Booragul is a co-educational 7 to 12 school which provides an inclusive, welcoming and comfortable environment that allows students to feel at home and develop their varied capacities and skills in a calm and nurturing setting.

Students at the College are given the choice to study music, visual arts and design and photography and languages, with all sections of the faculty overlooked by extremely gifted teachers who are renowned practitioners in their field of expertise. The College holds an annual ‘ARCHIPAULS’ art exhibition, music concerts and drama productions and students have the opportunity to participate in the Dobell Festival, Festival of the Lights, Splendour in the Arts, First Class at Lake Macquarie Art Gallery, The Moran Prize for Portraiture and the Swan Song Soiree.

Students at St Paul’s continue to excel in a wide array of educational fields achieving outstanding results in the Science & Engineering Challenge, Diocesan Debating and Public Speaking, HSC Art Express & Design TECH and Mock Trial. The College’s Higher School Certificate results confirm its continuing focus on academic excellence.

Students are involved in a variety of social justice initiatives that support the less fortunate both nationally and internationally. Students are provided with the opportunity to visit local nursing homes, participate in ANZAC Day ceremonies, donate to the Red Cross Blood Service, support the St Vincent de Paul’s homeless appeal and take part in the Environment Action team. The college also has a student-run recycling program that encourages students to participate in the local chapter of Stream Watch, plant native grasses and shrubs and maintain the school gardens.

The College is equipped with modern and engaging teaching tools and the latest state-of-the-art learning spaces. The Damascus Centre is the most recent learning hub at St Paul’s and features flexible learning spaces with full wireless technology and SMARTboards in every teaching area.

The College also features two specialist music rooms, a fully operational photo laboratory, excellent science laboratories, a multipurpose school hall,a Trade Training Centre where hospitality and construction are taught, as well as a variety of online learning platforms, well-equipped workshops and commercial quality kitchens.

A variety of cultural events, including trips to Vietnam, France and a study tour in Italy are also offered and students have further opportunities to excel outside the classroom environment and can participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and other Immersion experiences.

St Paul's Catholic College, Booragul accepts girls and boys, Years 7-12, from the areas of Boolaroo-Warners Bay, Cardiff, Glendale/West Wallsend, Morisset,Toronto, Sugarloaf and Booragul and defined by the zone primary schools.
